Description

Gustav Mahler: Symphonies Nos. 1-9

Leonard Bernstein conducting the New York Philharmonic or the London Symphony Orchestra.

German CBS Masterworks stereo-pressings with blue labels, presumably from the early 70s.

3 LP-boxes, each with two booklets containing 15LPs altogether.

Comes with a bonus single displaying a recording of Mahler playing excerpts from his

4th on a Welte-Piano.


  • Condition Box: VG+. Principally very well kept, but all three have foxmarks on top.

          No cellar-smell, though.

  • Condition Vinyl: NM. Not sure any of these discs has ever been played. A couple of discs are very mildly warped, but that doesn’t affect audio at all.

  • Condition Booklets: EX.

- I use sturdy cardboard-boxes and cardboard-dividers, both specifically designed for the safe shipping of vinyl records.

- Most LPs receive new antistatic innersleeves (in addition to the original ones, which of course are also provided). I, however, don't add new sleeves, if the original ones seem fitting.

A note about my record-grading:

I usually only visually grade the LPs under strong light and I only playgrade them ( i.e. the portions that seem to have signs of usage), if I can't be sure of their actual condition.
If records show stronger signs of soiling I'll professionally clean them (Okki Nokki RCM), but I'm not doing this if it's obviously only dust, as I know that collectors usually prefer their
very own way of record-cleaning.

My goal is to always decribe the records appropriately and I will name every visible and/or audible defect in my detailed description. If regardless of my precautions
you should ever be dissatisfied with the condition of a record, please contact me before leaving negative or neutral feedback to give me the chance to resolve your query.
I'm confident, however, that this will hardly ever be the case. I've been selling records for many years now and so far complaints fortunately have been the utter exception!
