ARTIST: BERNARD 'PRETTY' PURDIE TITLE: Soul Drums - Shrink DESCRIPTION: BERNARD PRETTY PURDIE Soul Drums (US 2009 exclusive limited edition 11-track LP pressed on High Definition Premium 180gram VIRGIN VINYL originally released in 1968 by the legendary drummer who lays down an instrumental funkygroove from start to finish - as Ken Hawkins [program director at WJMO Cleveland] so correctly puts it: ""...real down-home rhythm-and-blues with a smidgin of real hard-nosed wailing rock. Ow!"" The sleeve (still in opened hype-stickered shrink!) and vinyl are Near Mint P743337)
