Beowulf - Lost my head...But I'm Back On The Right Track. 1st Pressing. Caroline Records. Hardcore Punk Rock Metal . Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
The record has a fair number of scratches on either side including a couple long ones, however, they all look to be pretty light and probably nothing bad enough to disturb the listener. There are, however, a couple short ones that look like they could possibly be more significant. Still nothing bad enough to cause a skip but there could be a few pops and clicks here and there, mostly noticeable between songs. G+++
The insert has the worst of the damage to this entire package. There are seam splits happening on all 3 closed sides. The left side split is only a couple inches but the bottom split is 8 to 9 inches in length, and the right side split has completely severed the entire seam on that side. There is also a small (about an inch) chunk torn out of the top left corner, on one side only, and a small tear about halfway down that side. I have included close up pictures of both. G
The cover is still in really good shape, although there is very light ring wear visible. There are also the usual handful of short, faint veins, near the left and top edges of the cover, as well as a light bend in one corner that has created significantly long, but faint veinsu in that corner, on front and on back. The spine edge has moderate wear but the titles are mostly intact. There are a few letters, and parts of letters, worn away. (see pictures) The shelf edge also has moderate wear. VG
Grades that I use are G-, G, G+, G++, G+++, VG, VG+, VG++, VG+++/EX, NM. I won't be describing anything as M or MINT unless it is unopened and the packaging is completely unblemished. Records that have never been played but HAVE been opened, will be described as Near Mint or NM. These are the adjectives that I use when describing damage: Very Light < Light < Moderate < Severe < Catastrophic. To describe damage in between those ranks I say things like: "Moderate leaning towards Severe," "Moderate leaning towards light," or "In between Light and Moderate"...just for example.
