Benny Goodman 125 Jazz Breaks 78 Era Sheet Music Book Fine to NM-
Revilla Grooves and Gear: Grade 'em Fair, Ship 'em Fast! The © AP The © AP The Item:
Melrose Brothers Music Company: Benny Goodman's 125 Jazz Breaks for the Saxophone and Clarinet
1927
Goodman was only 18 years old when this book first appeared. The book was published with two covers. The original cover has a not very good photo of teenage Benny without clarinet. The photo on this edition is more formal, and may date from a couple of years later, but other than that there is no difference.
Publisher: Melrose Brothers Music Company inc. Chicago
Press: Possibly 2nd Press - 1927
Style: Semi-glossy Book, stapled
Size: 7" x 10", approx.
Suitable for framing.
Condition: Fine+ to NM-, only flaws are some light writing in pencil.
All in all this is an absolutely gorgeous piece.
