Description

This is the original deep-groove pressing of Benny Carter “Jazz Giant” on Contemporary C3555. The playing surface appears to be mint, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The frame cover is also in extraordinary condition, bright and clean throughout with sharp corners and perfect seams; slight foxing on the back slick; light discoloration at the lower left corner of the back. Original reply card and inspection guarantee included. Personnel include Ben Webster, Frank Rosolino, Jimmy Rowles, Barney Kessel, and Shelly Manne.
