Original pressing with 47 West 63rd - NYC address on center label, deep groove, RVG and "ear" in dead wax. No registry mark (R). Record has several light sleeve marks, mostly on side 2. It plays very cleanly with only a few random light clicks. Front cover looks great but has a less than 2 inch split on the top seam at the open end. There are extensive notes next to the tune listings as well as 2 name stamps, dates and several lines of text underlined on the back cover. This record came from the library of the legendary radio personality Ed Beach, host of a long running show called Just Jazz on WRVR in New York. He passed away last year but sold his collection to me and a few friends over 20 years ago. The guy had an amazing voice and influenced a lot of listeners over the years.

We do not play grade MOST of our records so we guarantee our visual grading with a money back guarantee that includes shipping. If we do play grade a record, we will let you know about any noise in detail in our description. Generally, we do not list records below EX- condition unless it is exceptionally rare. We do not recommend audiophiles bid on records in less than NM- condition. Our grading standard is as follows.

Mint is only used for sealed records or records that we are certain have never been played.

Near Mint or NM is for the most part as good as it gets! No marks and will play clean with no noise unless inherent in the pressing.

EX+ Will generally have one or two minor flaws, but will overall be near mint.

EX or Excellent will have light surface marks and some background noise.

EX- Overall an Excellent copy with light surface marks, but with something that distracts, like a small scratch that makes a few pops.

VG+ Consistent background noise, pops but should not skip or stick. Still a playable copy.

VG has many problems. Noise will dominate. May have quite a few pops and possibly a skip.

VG- Will likely have a skip or two and will be very noisy.

G = Our lowest grade and is actually a poor record.
