Bennie Green - "Walkin" and Talkin'" / Blue Note BLP 4010, 1959, Mono, Rudy Van Gelder /
An early mono issue. The following points are relevant: deep groove to the label; "47 West 63rd, NYC" to labels and sleeve; RVG stamped in deadwax; laminated sleeve; no plastylite "P" in the deadwax; beaded edge (Cohen's "Guide" calls for a tapered edge, neither flat nor beaded). Without the "P", early pressing but not the true first. Deadwax: RVG BN-LP-4010-A [B] (RVG stamped, rest etched).
An EX LP in a VG+ sleeve. Details: Clean and bright labels, but numerous spindle swipes visible when viewed from close. A FLAT record. Clean and glossy sides but a dozen hairlines/light marks to the A, about half as many to the B. PLAYGRADED as EX: some very light static and crackle at the outset of each side, touches of the same scattered across the songs, but very clean play and such noise as occurs very muted. A BN inner, but from a later era. A VG+ sleeve: slight warp, rubbing and small scratches to the lower edge, shadow to both sides (mild at front, moderate at rear), lightly stained and discolored at the edge of the rear with "WII" faintly penned to one corner. LP weight: 152g.

For the US, we usually prefer to ship everything USPS priority mail or first class with a delivery confirmation number. Priority mail offers average 2-3 days delivery of shipment. Other methods of shipping are available upon request. Postcards, photos, and flat items will be shipped priority mail for best service. We will ship worldwide.
