Description
Scarce original 1976 U.S. pressing of Beginning of the End’s self-titled second album, released on Alston Records as 4403.
This is the original vintage Alston/T.K. Productions edition—not the later licensed reissue or unofficial reproduction. Identifying details include the original orange/yellow/white Alston labels, 1976 copyright, T.K. Productions distribution address in Hialeah, Florida, and photographed hand-etched 4403-A/4403-B runout markings.
Beginning of the End was the Bahamian group behind “Funky Nassau.” Their much harder-to-find second LP combines Bahamian rhythms with funk, soul, jazz and rock and has developed strong international rare-groove and DJ demand.
Includes:
• Original Alston 4403 vinyl LP
• Original Earth-design picture jacket
• Plain paper inner sleeve
The vinyl remains glossy but has visible scratches, scuffs and handling marks on both sides. It has not been play-graded, so surface noise, pops or other playback issues are possible.
The jacket has rubbing, ring wear, creases, worn corners and edge or seam wear, including damage at the upper-right corner. The front and back artwork and track information remain clear and presentable. No inserts or additional items are included.
Tracks:
• Super Woman
• Trip to Nowhere
• Jamaica
• I’ve Got the News
• Falling Apart at the Seams
• That’s What I Get
• Bluestrain
• Jump in the Water
• Bahamian Boogie
Please examine all photos closely for the runout markings and exact condition. Photos are part of the description.
