Beethoven Violin Concerto Milstein UK Columbia SAX 2508
Nathan Milstein with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Erich Leinsdorf performs the “Violin Concerto” of Beethoven. An English pressing on the Columbia Label (SAX 2508), the labels are blue/green with silver “radio waves” and border, and black lettering and stereophonic flash with tiny magic notes logo. A few light surface scuffs do not appear to sound and the record is of otherwise excellent appearance, and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The cover laminate has rubbed a little with a slight ring.
