British 1st release of the original film soundtrack to "Staying Alive” (1983, dir. Sylvester Stallone), featuring original songs by the Bee Gees plus Frank Stallone, Cynthia Rhodes and others.

The film, the sequel to Saturday Night Fever, starred  John Travolta as dancer Tony Manero, with Cynthia Rhodes, Finola Hughes, Joyce Hyser, Julie Bovasso, and dancers Viktor Manoel and Kevyn Morrow.

Condition (refer also to notes at bottom): Vinyl: VG. Both sides look unsoiled. Light mottling residue through curve of track 1 on both sides. A few light hairline ticks and marks across both sides but only superficial and nothing major. No deep scratches. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is very good overall. Little static at side 1 run-in, side 2 has mild static. Very light surface noise in places. More obvious in quieter cues and between some tracks. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking.
Outer Sleeve (Cover): VG-EX. Colours remain bright and unfaded. Superb gloss outer gatefold with original hype sticker. Couple of curved creases across front and one or two in from bottom edge and spine. Spine corners buckled and scuffed but other corners lightly worn. Aperture, bottom and top edges in great shape. Spine has a few creases and one tear. Rear outer gate has a few creases in from spine but no other obvious marks. Inner gate clean and undamaged.
Inner Sleeve: EX. White paper with curved corners and centre hole. Mild folding and creasing but clean and intact.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
