Mega rare 1st Bee Gees 45,'The Battle of the Blue & Grey' b/w 'The Three Kisses of Love'.Both compositions by Barry Gibb.Condition is VG-, but the record is playable, with no skips or worn stylus damage evident.Cliks, pops and scratches are the problem with this one (mainly on the intros), but the music plays loud and overwhelms much of the aforementioned faults.A shame it's in this condition, but it so seldom turns up that a copy in any shape is worth having.I wouldn;t advise playing this 45 with a top notch stylus.It's more a proposition for the 'Kriesler Multisonic' or similar.The sound quality is still most enjoyable and the incredible talent and potential of the group is evident in these two great Barry Gibb tracks.Labels are good with spindle marks evident and a light pen owners name on the bottom end of the silver boomerang on "The three kisses of love'.Record graded at VG-/VG-, (4.5 out of 10).Will send to the winning bidder by registered post.
