Description

For sale: Beck - Sea Change (2006 Original First Vinyl Pressing, Geffen Records B0004372-01, US 2LP Gatefold)
This is the highly sought-after 2006 first-ever vinyl release of Beck's acclaimed 2002 album—not a later reissue (like the common 2016 versions). Confirmed authentic via:
Catalog/spine: B0004372-01 + DGC markings
Barcode on back: 606949339319
Signature colorful labels: Pink on Side A (with stars), orange on Side C (with drips)—unique to this pressing
Full gatefold artwork by Jeremy Blake (front portrait, inner lyrics/art spread, back tracklist)
Condition Details (Graded Conservatively):
Vinyl (both discs): VG+ to Excellent – Light surface marks/hairlines from normal play/storage (visible in photos), but glossy, clean, no deep gouges, skips, or warps. Plays great with excellent fidelity.
Gatefold Sleeve: VG+ to Excellent – Vibrant pink background/art intact, minimal shelf/ring wear or edge scuffs (no splits, creases, tears, or fading). Inner spread lyrics/art beautiful and sharp.
Inner Sleeves: Original or protective (clean).
Overall: A well-preserved, great-playing example of this rare pressing.

Tracks as listed on back:
Side A: The Golden Age / Paper Tiger / Guess I'm Doing Fine
Side B: Lonesome Tears / Lost Cause / End of the Day
Side C: It's All in Your Mind / Round the Bend / Already Dead
Side D: Sunday Sun / Little One / Side of the Road
Produced by Nigel Godrich—Beck's introspective masterpiece with lush strings and Americana vibes.
Photos: All real shots of this exact copy (front, back, inner gatefold open, labels close-ups, spine/catalog). Zoom in to verify details!

Starting Bid: $60 (5-day auction)
Buy It Now: $225
Serious collectors: This is your chance for a clean, verified 2006 original at a fair price. Questions? Message me—happy to provide more pics (e.g., runout etchings if needed). Thanks for looking, and good luck bidding!
