Description
This is the original cassette release, not a duplicate (covers were photocopies and the cassette labels were handwritten by label boss Peter Hughes on white stick-on paper labels), of Beck's Golden Feelings put out by Sonic Enemy in 1993. Not sure how many copies of this were made but SE was a pretty small label so I'm guessing the quantities were on the low side.
I bought the tape directly from the label when it was released. The cassette itself hasn't been played too much and still sounds as good as the day I received it.
The sleeve is in very good condition and has Beck written in Gold paint-pen on the spine. Also comes with a lime green insert with 'Everything in this BOX is False' written on it - which I thought it might been when I then heard Loser on TOTPs a few weeks later having never heard of Beck before (I bought this tape on the strength of some other great tapes from Sonic enemy - DiscothiQ and the Mountain Goats) but I can assure you its provenance is genuine.
