Description

Up for auction is a beautiful Beatles mono white album, The laminated cover is in nice VG++ condition, this cover has the extra wide spine, a couple things holding it back from near mint, the extra wide spine has some cracking of the laminate not very distracting at all, the back cover shows a bit of a darkened ring which gets more pronounced closer to the left of the cover, the front cover has a 4 inch long thin scratch in the laminate which starts a little below and to the left of The Beatles and extends the rest of the way down, it's not very distracting but it's there, the inside cover has glue residue along the seam of the inside flaps from production most notably down the right side near the photo of  Ringo.

The rest of the package is near mint, the records, all four sides and the labels are emmaculate not even a hairline on the vinyl, there is a bit of a hiss on the very beginning inner groove just as Back in the USSR is starting in then it disappears, one of the original black sleeves has a 1 inch split on the side, the original photos and poster are all in great shape.

The matrix number on the vinyl are XEX 709-1  XEX 710-1  XEX 711-1  XEX 712-1

Thank for looking

A little bit about me, I started collecting records in 1994 back in the Goldmine Magazine era some years before Ebay. I've never purchased records with the thought of reselling them, I bought them because I loved records and wanted to gradually build my own personal collection. Many times I'd upgraded and then upgraded again just to get that perfect cover and record. Along the way I've been hit by surprises and ripped off hundreds of times by know it alls and MINT monsters who almost always over grade everything. So as a buyer I know exactly how it feels to be ripped off.

I occasionally sell records on Ebay. As a seller I am probably one of the lousiest money makers out there. I believe I should be right up front in detailing my items and grade them accordingly, and there should be no surprises to the buyer when they receive their item. In other words exceed the buyers expectations.
