PLEASE CONSIDER THAT IN THESE EBAY AUCTIONS I USE A STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE GRADING SYSTEM THAT CAN'T DISAPPOINT ANYONE BUT THIS DOESN'T MEAN THAT ,FOR EXAMPLE,  A VG+ COVER OR A VG+ VINYL  IT'S EQUIVALENT TO "BAD CONDITIONS" BUT SIMPLY THAT MY GRADE IT'S STRICT AND PROBABLY EQUIVALENT TO AN EX OF SOMEONE ELSE WITH  NOT A SO STRICT GRADE. I HAVE SOLD IN THESE AUCTIONS EX- RECORDS THAT WERE SURELLY M- COPIES BUT I PREFERE TO BE STRICT TO AVOID ANY DISAPPOINTEMENT BECAUSE I TAKE GREAT CARE OF MY REPUTATION.

graded VG+/VG+ for a strict Record Collector Grading system

label: The original light blue Hardwick Productions  KIN 5001 private label it's in very nice conditions and there's no wear on it. I can see just 2/3 very short and superficials  spindle marks for each side. I wonder if some other records has been pressed on this micro label and I can't imagine how many copies has been pressed in the far 1976 but this is a rare example... believe me.
cover: The cover  it's a front laminated with back unlaminated with an orange background where Tim Norfolk wrote some interesting notes that along with some signatures help us to know at least the name of the members and wich instrument they plays and a brief history of the group beginning. The front lamination does have some more creases on the left corners and it's in much better conditions on the central and on the right side but I feel that give more than a VG+ would be too much for a conservative grade. The back side does have these 3 autographs plus 3 others names wrote probably by the previous owner and it's a little rubbed in the right side but it's hardly noticeable. A fully enjoyable cover but with some minor defects that can be resumed in my VG+ grade.
vinyl: The vinyl it's in nice conditions and in the side one there's no marks ....some in the side two but none feelable. Altough in the side two I can hear some very minor crackles for some short moment or some minor noise here and there but listening with "elephant hears" and the noises are 1/2 on a music level of 10 so close to nothing but under a careful playing you can listen this background sometime as in the beautiful "All Around You"... anyway please don't overvalue my caution. ...3/4 lights clicks are hearables in the beginning of "The Piney Wood Hills" but very light really ... so a VG+ grade it's super super conservative and I assure you a totally enjoyable listening if you are not a MINT fan only. The pressing of this private press it's absolutelly great so don't worry about the listening.
review: This is a very rare album. The folk revival it's, in the second half of the seventies, the more prolific inspiration for a lot of groups and songwriters and I hardly have a surprise being myself an old collector...many unfortunatelly don't give nothing that well worth to hear . This one it's very different and you can understand this from the first track "Roll, Turn, Spin" a beautiful medieval styled folk track in Amazing Blondel vein superbly played but based on the beautiful soprano voice of Sue Copper that, as the notes says, emigrated from a solo career in East grinstead and joined Allan Capper (her husband) on guitars Dave Mayers on guitar and percusssions plus lead vocal when Sue it's silently playing his guitar and Kevin (I can't read his surname in the autograph sorry!) that plays the 12 strings guitar and harmonica when they come out from the Canute, their former group. From the first track they give us a melodic traditional music sometime baroque, sometime popular plus a couple of well done covers but all the time of superior level. I can assure you that on 12 tracks more than the half are of superior quality with great feelings, great acoustics textures and a GREAT female voice ...so Don't miss! SORRY for the minimum price but this is really the minimum I can accept for a so rare item and this is a correct auction very different the many "pushed up" auctions I see all around! Please open your eyes!
