Description

I am selling more BEATLES and BEATLES-RELATED LPs (duplicates) from my collection. So, please check my other auctions.

 

IN THIS AUCTION: 

 

·       “PUSSY CATS” STARRING HARRY NILSSON/PRODUCED BY JOHN LENNON”

·       This LP is RCA RECORDS CPL1-0570.

·       It was released in 1974.

·       This LP is the original GATEFOLD COVER pressing.

·       This is a rather obscure LP issued when John Lennon was separated from Yoko Ono and hanging out with his friend and drinking buddy, Harry Nilsson, in LA.

·       This LP is a PROMOTIONAL ISSUE.

·       The COVER has “NOT FOR SALE PROMOTION USE ONLY” embossed on the top right corner.

·       As you know, PROMOTIONAL RECORDS were pressed in very limited quantities and were only made available to the DJs at the Radio Stations for on-air play. This makes them VERY sought after due to their rarity (limited quantities pressed and not available to the public).

·       The COVER is in STRONG VG+ CONDITION with minimal overall wear. There are 3 small light creases, one is on John’s blouse and dress and two are near the spine on the rear cover. There is slight wear on the corners.

·       This COVER HAS NO SAW CUT that is often found on this LP.  

·       The VINYL is NEAR MINT.

·       The LP comes with its original inner sleeve that makes reference to R. Buckminster Fuller and Derek Taylor.

·       This is a NICE OBSCURE JOHN LENNON-RELATED PROMO LP to add to your vinyl collection!
