UK 1964 1st PRESS POLYDOR 45
Recorded in Hamburg in 1961, this UK pressed 45 dates from June 1964 and is on the red, white & gold stars Polydor label: NH 52317
The disc is housed within its original orange & white UK Polydor company cover.
Matrix numbers: NH 52317 A 1 & NH 52317 B 1
CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT
A clean & bright pair with just a few barely visible light spindle marks & light wear to the centre holes, but no writing or missing paper.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Extremely clean, glossy and unworn playing surfaces which display no surface marks or wear when inspected in strong daylight. Close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals just some harmless wispy paper hairlines but no other blemishes or wear whatsoever.
Play: 1. EXCELLENT + 2. EXCELLENT
This disc has received some careful play, but the quality of the recording and pressing means that there is no deterioration or wear to the sound quality on either side. Both songs are free from any clicks, pops or any other such audible distractions. In fact, apart form a touch of light background on the quieter 'b' side, there is little else to fault here.
