Rubber Soul 1965

1st Pressing

PMC 1267-Mono

Matrix: XEX 579-1 and XEX 580-1

Stampers: 3GA and 3GA

Both sides of this disc display a good lustre with only minimal handling lines and light needle marks. Audio quality is superb, with just a little mild static to the run ins. Paul's booming bass is present throughout, hence the 'loud cut'. There is the occasional crackle and odd click here and there but overall the whole disc plays without distortion, peak wear, stalls or jumps. 

Both labels are in excellent condition, with all text undamaged and the yellow 'Parlophone's' vibrant. There are numerous spindle trails present and some age spots over the surfaces.

The Garrod and Lofthouse cover is in fair condition, with no real problems, just general aging. The spine is undamaged and all text perfectly legible. The flipbacks are tight and near perfect.

The original, tracing paper lined, Emitex inner sleeve is completely intact, showing creasing and age browning.

All in all, a great copy of this collectible first issue.
