Beatles-Related 45 Jackie Lomax New Day w/ STAR on Label Apple NM!

As collectors well know, this is one of the rarest Apple 45’s with star on label.  And as most collectors know (and the rest can Google), that’s Paul on drums on both sides of the record, with George and Pattie singing backups.  Billy Preston is on piano and organ.  Clapton is on the album, but I’m not sure if he’s on this 45.

Sleeve:  Company Apple sleeve is a little faded, has some wear around the center hole on one side, none on the other.  Flat, razor-sharp and nearly new-looking.  Has original price sticker still affixed.

Vinyl:  NM, store stock new.

Labels:  NM, store-stock new-looking, some dirtwear on side 2.  Star on A-side label. 

If I knew then what I know now, I’d have bought all 8 or 10 copies in the bin!

Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!) 

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)
