IN THIS AUCTION:
· “Questions ALL ABOUT THE BEATLES” Answered by Louise Harrison Caldwell (Sister of George Harrison)
· According to the LP’s rear cover, “Louise became rather dismayed over the number of untruths that were being printed about her brother and his three great buddies. She was asked by RE-CAR RECORDS if she would like the opportunity to tour some of the cities of the United States and appear live, ON THE AIR of some of America’s outstanding radio stations to answer young America’s questions and, if possible, to ‘set the record straight’… Louise welcomed the opportunity to tell the truth about the BEATLES. This album is the result.”
· The LP cover states that it was “Recorded Live on the air at: WMEX, Boston, WNOR, Norfolk, WHK, Cleveland, WKNR, Detroit, KIMN, Denver”
· The LP has 5 tracks, one for each of the interviews at the 5 radio stations.
· This LP is RE-CAR 2012.
· It was released in 1964
· This is the ORIGINAL U.S. PRESSING, not the re-released import.
· This LP was “Manufactured at Recar Inc., 2948 1st Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minn.”
· The COVER is graded STRONG VG+ (not far from near mint). Only some light cover and light wear on 2 corners kept me from grading the cover near mint.
· The VINYL is graded NEAR MINT!
· A VERY RARE EARLY BEATLES-RELATED LP to add to your vinyl collection!
