Still displaying the earliest 1G stamper on side two and released, at the time, on the redesigned modern Parlophone label, this disc is possibly as rare as the first 'Gold' stereo, with copies surfacing just as infrequently. Here is an opportunity to own an example in astonishing condition. A short lived variant, with mispressed labels omitting the 'Recording first published 1963' text, it was corrected almost immediately with labels which then included this information

A truly spectacular disc, appearing completely unmarked in daylight and only revealing the lightest of surface lines under a powerful halogen lamp
On the turntable the vinyl and labels give the appearance of a new disc
Needless to say, all tracks play through with no clicks, stalls or jumps and near silent run ins. A fabulous copy

The labels are near pristine, with vibrant yellow 'parlophones' and all text perfectly legible
Just a few tiny age spots and the usual collection of spindle trails

The E J Day cover is in wonderful condition, fully intact, with a perfect spine. Made from thick card stock, the laminated front panel is near perfect, showing very mild edge wrinkles and just a single thumb bend near the opening. The unprotected back panel shows just mild age toning and the flipbacks are tight but do display some missing laminate in the centre of the bottom flip. The Angus McBean photo credit is in it's corrected position, moved slightly to the left. The original owner has written her name, address and telephone number (which I have covered over), only adding to the originality of the item as there is no dialling code and just a 5 digit number

The original, 'patents applied for', polythene inner sleeve is in lovely condition, fully intact with just a tiny split in one side seam. It has not been affected by age toning

All in all, an outstanding example of this great album, in super stereo format
