The Beatles/Penny Lane b/w Strawberry Fields Forever/Capitol P 5810 (1967). Yellow label promo 45 in Capitol company sleeve. British Invasion psych rock.
VG (record) Record has some wear and plays with some noise, play-graded all the way through, both sides. Sound sample of both sides provided-LISTEN! Labels are very clean, as shown.
Please note: This 45 has a six-prong asterisk in the trail-off groove, indicating Los Angeles pressing. Label paper stock is shiny kromecoat stock. Trail off information: 45-45871 F1 (Penny Lane side, written in script), 45-45870 G-2 with an additional 2 isolated in the trail-off groove (Strawberry Fields side, written in script).
Strawberry Fields Forever recording anomaly, played on a stereo turntable, the right channel is low until about :22 seconds in, and then begins to match the left channel volume level. I have included a sound sample of this, as well as the Penny Lane side. My Penny Lane sample includes roughly the first minute of the song, and then a fade out/fade in to include the last 10 seconds or so of the song, so you can hear the promo-only ending with the full trumpet trill.
