Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
The Beatles-"The Beatles" ("The White Album"), a 2 LP set, Capitol SEBX-11841, released in 1978. This is the white vinyl pressing with purple LP labels. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in NM- to NM condition; sometimes with colored vinyl it's hard to see marks and/or scratches, but I can only find a couple of very small marks. Cover is in NM- condition with some extremely light general age/ring wear. The portraits, printed on lighter paper, are in VG condition overall. John's has a fold mark and Paul's has a small tear and several creases. The poster is also in VG condition; each corner has a tape tear where it must have once hung on a wall. Overall a very nice piece of Beatles vinyl; this particular pressing is getting hard to find in any condition.
