Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
The Beatles-"Please Please Me" LP, a UK import, Parlophone PCS 3042, released in 1965. This is a much scarcer Stereo pressing. It's a fifth pressing with "Gramophone Co. Ltd." in the perimeter print, and the "Sold In The UK" text. Side one matrix: YEX 94-1 with "AT" at the 3 o'clock position; side two matrix: YEX 95-1 with "AM" at the 3 o'clock position. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in amazing NM condition; I just don't see any marks on this. There are spindle marks on the side two label so if this was played it was played very sparingly and/or carefully. The cover is in VG+ condition with some light general age wear and some stains on the back. No creases, tears or splits anywhere. Comes with it's original EMI inner sleeve, in great shape with no splits. Classic Beatles, in overall excellent condition.
