Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
The Beatles-"Help!" LP, a UK import, Parlophone PCS 3071, released in 1965. This is a much scarcer Stereo pressing. It's a first pressing with "Gramophone Co. Ltd." in the perimeter print, and the "Sold In The UK" text. Though it's hard to see in the picture, the side two label also has the "KT" tax code. Side one matrix: YEX 168-1 with "MM" at the 3 o'clock position; side two matrix: YEX 169-1 with "PD" at the 3 o'clock position. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in NM- to NM condition; one light mark on side one is all that's keeping this from a NM grade. Cover is in strong VG+ to NM- condition with light general age wear and a spot in the upper right corner on the front where a sticker used to be. There are a couple of light creases on the front but no tears or splits anywhere. Comes with it's original Emitex inner sleeve, in VG condition. Very nice copy of this iconic LP.
