Description
This rare Canadian extended play was issued in May, 1964. The disc contains four tracks, Roll Over Beethoven, All My Loving, This Boy and Please, Mr. Postman. All four tracks had already been issued in Canada on two successful singles. As a result there was not a high demand for the E.P. and less than 5000 were pressed. There was no subsequent pressing.
A classic Deso Hoffman image in monochrome was used against a pale orange to brown background on both sides of the cover. Unlike the US release which used slicks the Canadian release was printed directly on cardboard. The pressing was made from parts shipped from Capitol records Scranton plant with the matrix and Scranton pressing logo (IAM) stamped in the run-off. The matrix stamped in this particular record is:

In the context of Beatles' collectibles, and as the only extended play released in Canada, this disc qualifies as a rarity.
Vinyl = VG+ Play tested. Some static. The flat vinyl has retained it's shine. A nice example. Labels = Excellent - clean, small pen written name on one side. Shows few signs of handling. Sleeve: Excellent - no seam splits, no writing, no ring wear. Minor signs of wear. Minor corner bump - see photographs.
