PLEASE NOTE I AM NOT A TRADER THESE RECORDS ARE FROM MY OWN COLLECTION GATHERED OVER 50 YEARS. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN PLAYED FOR SOMETIME BUT HAVE BEEN SAT ON MY SHELVES SO ITS NOW TIME FOR OTHERS TO ENJOY THEM MOST ARE IN EXCELLENT NEAR MINT CONDITION. ALL MY AUCTION START WITH NO RESERVE. BEATLES Let it Be box set - in EXCELLENT CONDITION with all original components and Apple poster - there are no replicas! Also included is the original NME review article from May 1970 - in the review the journo sums up the album as a "...overwrapped glorified EP - a bad and sad mistake"!!! - but this didn't put me off buying the album! Have never seen this truly rare artefact with any of these box sets and only adds to the box set.
VINYL = HEAVY WEIGHT vinyl AND IS NEAR MINT - THIS HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED still looks nice and shiny black vinyl. PLAYS MINT fantastic stereo separation and clarity AND SILENT - no scratches just a couple of feint hairlines that are barely noticeable - STUNNING - MATRIX side 1 = YEX 773 - 2U 1 6 RA; side 2 = YEX 774-2U 1 P.
RECORD LABELs = MINT no writing or spindle wear lovely dark green apple colour
Vinyl housed in original white paper sleeve - ‘Made in England' PATENT No1.125.555. - is in ex condition no rips seam splits or writing.
THE RECORD SLEEVE IS FULLY LAMINATED WITH RED APPLE LOGO ON BACK IS in EX condition - very minor corner rubbing only. Spine intact and fully readable. Fantastic example of this beautiful sleeve.
THE INNER BOOK TRAY IS THE REAL STAR OF THIS BOX SET - AS IT IS IN MINT CONDITION. NO CORNER RIPS OR STRESS - As a serious Beatles collector you will know the tray is easily damaged as it is not fit for purpose - far too flimsy to hold the heavy Get Back book! THIS TRAY HAS NEVER BEEN USED TO HOUSE THE BOOK - I REMOVED IT THE DAY OF PURCHASE SO TRAY IS IN STUNNING CONDITION - YOU WONT FIND BETTER. SEE PHOTO.
The slip tray that this inner tray fits into does however show signs of wear mostly along the edges - see photo - and there are a few small crease to the side flaps but still overall very good condition.
The outer cover is IS FULLY LAMINATED AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION - there is some laminate lifting/creasing caused by shelf wear but nothing serious - see photos. The GET BACK book looks superb - has not been opened much but the rear pages look like they could come loose if fully opened - so be careful with it, Has the copyright credits stuck into front (page 7) indicating a very early copy of the book - later copies have this printed on page.
THE APPLE ADVERTISING POSTER IS in ex condition - original not a copy/replica as so many are these days. There are a couple of creases to the poster but it still looks good.
Also included is the original NME review of the album by Alan Smith - I purchased the NME around the same time I bought the album - although the album review looks pristine there is some of my teenage graffiti on the other side of the clipping - photos from the NME poll concert of the time - but the review is clear of graffiti.
OVERALL SUPERB EXAMPLE OF A VERY RARE RECORD IN THIS EXCELLENT CONDITION. IF YOU NEED MORE PHOTOS OR MORE INFO JUST LET ME KNOW - THE 12 photos do not do justice to this album.
