Description
This is a nice, clean copy of the ultra-rare, unpeeled 2nd State Butcher cover in Mono, so many of them are getting peeled that these are going to be the rarest of them all and this is a very clean example with minimal Ring wear.
On this copy the "paste over" cover did not line up perfectly with the original cover causing some of it to show along the bottom bottom-left edge, This feature makes it more authentic and adds credibility to the cover-up story that goes along with the album.
Another neat feature, one can very plainly see the "V" in Ringo's smock and under the right lighting conditions you can almost make out his face through the "paste over".
The record itself is actually pretty clean as well, it does have a couple of small Nick's and paper scuffs but overall should sound pretty good considering it's more than 50 years old.
The original inner sleeve has gone missing but does have a nice clean vintage paper sleeve for the record.
