Description

I bought this album when it came out (just before or just after I was married to a Beatle fan, July 1, 1966 - still married!).
There is wear on the cover front and back, but the record is pretty clean, considering its age and the stylus we used back then.
I always thought it was the original "butcher" cover for several reasons: I peeled back less than an inch of the lower right cover and can see black from Ringo's slacks. The real giveaway is on the white background on the right side, half way between the trunk and the right edge. Even in the photo here you can see an angled shadow, which is the right lapel of Ringo's white smock over his black shirt. (The original butcher photo is all over the web.)
My wife and I are long past 64 and are downsizing. Part of that is saying goodbye to a lot of nostalgia and a lot of collections.
