Description
Here is an absolute, 100% guaranteed 2nd state butcher/baby pasteover of Yesterday and Today. There are no questions of doubt whatsoever, so please refrain form obvious questions. I will add all the photos needed and hope my reputation assures you. I make this statement. This is a 2nd state and it is in VG+ condition.
This one is in a little better condition than the last one I sold here. The seams are in great shape. Overall it is a solid VG+. The infamous V is clear, as are Ringo's legs and face. If you have the right light, you can even see his smirky smile. 'File Under Beatles' and T-2553 are covered. The factory number is 6.
The front of the cover shows no ringwear, writing, tears, nicks or scuffs, just some normal top level soiling and some light small water spots. The back has high spot ringwear that could be cleaned. All and all, it's a solid VG+ for this title.
For what it's worth, the disk that accompanies this historical gem is in VG+ condition to even the stanchest collector. It has nice gloss, a very light spicing of micro lines, no scratches and generally plays clean with no surface noise, give or take some occasional dust tics. A good cleaning could make this disk a NM player.
Shipping insurance is free on this item. Coverage will be insured for end price. Priority Mail is recomended to US customers. If the winner is from outside the USA, I will negotiate Registered air mail rate.
I ship records properly, 'disk out of cover' in a 2 ml poly sleeve and sent in a cardboard LP mailer. Questions are welcomed. Bid with confidence.
VINYL GRADING
M- = a pristine record
EX+ = a near mint record. May have VERY minor marks that can only be seen in bright light and plays with NO surface noise
EX = a well-kept record. May have micro-sleeve lines, perhaps minor marks that do NOT affect play. NM-
VG+ = a nice record. May have superficial marks but plays with MINIMAL surface sound ONLY in quiet passages.
VG = a used record. Has visible marks, light scratches and minor surface noise, but is still a good listening experience.
VG- = a well-used record. Has marks, minor scratches and obvious surface noise, but still plays through with NO skips and is still enjoyable.
I do not sell items below these ratings.
NOTE: Please do not bid unless you intend to buy. If you have 0 to 5 bid history, please contact me before bidding. Sorry, but I have had some problems with members who don't take this venue seriously.
On Jan-30-06 at 22:46:25 PST, seller added the following information: In order to sum up some questions on this item I am adding this update. I realise that ebay's compression of my photos can rob detail. I use basic listing options and do not have URL options. This item is as described. The water spots are light and mostly isolated to the top right and I doubt that they could possibly breech the slick underneath. The only top slick photo wear is to George's hair and a tiny bit on the door of the trunk. The only inaccuracy a buyer may find is that the disk might be under-rated...perhaps an EX (VG++). I would be more than happy to send clearer photos on request. But I will need an email address. Thanks for looking.
