THE BEATLES - 'YELLOW SUBMARINE'
This EXCELLENT UK 1st MONO pressing dates from initial January 1969 release on the dark green Apple Records label: PMC 7070
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK...' text with 'Apple Records...' rim texts.
Earliest possible matrix numbers: XEX 715-1 & XEX 716-1
Stamper codes: 1/RD & 2/GO

Housed within an early-type front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with blank lower rear flipback
Complete with its original matt-black, die-cut inner-sleeve

A richly coloured, unworn pair with just a handful of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Exceptionally clean playing surfaces which retain all of their factory shine, undulled by overplay or incorrect storage. Aside from a few light hairlines and harmless blemishes caused by the unforgiving back inner-sleeve beneath halogen light, there is little to fault on either side.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT -
This copy has received minimal careful play and is without any significant deterioration to the sound quality overall or any major faults. My play-check detected a hint of wear on 'Only A Northern Song' & 'All You Need Is Love', but no clicks, pops or any other audible distractions whatsoever. There is some light vinyl background in places on the delicate orchestral side along with an occasional light tick, but nothing which spoils the listening enjoyment of this fine disc.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A highly respectable example of this striking cover which retains a sparkling, high-gloss front panel laminate with a touch of storagewear rubbing but no 'thumbnail' wrinkles anywhere. All corners are in nice shape with no heavy bumps and there is just a touch of wear to the rear opening edge. The easily blemished rear panel itself is very clean with the only significant mark being a tiny pen mark in the upper right corner. All flipbacks are fully intact and unworn and both seams are smooth & unstressed.
The spine is clean & unworn with a fully worded text.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with no tears or seam splits.
