ORIGINAL BLACK / RAINBOW EDGED CAPITOL 1ST PRESS LABELS ~ STEREO LP & IT'S STILL IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINKWRAP!

"Is it a paste over?"
"Is the infamous 'Butcher Cover' hidden underneath?", you're all screaming!
Try as I may, I really can't see the tell tale black "Vee" on the cover so, I don't think so.
And, probably like you, I have heard rumors that sometimes you can't see it but, ...hmmmm...I dunno....
This is the rare #5 RIAA Cover with the pink coverstock visible inside and the thicker cover slick and it is the one that I've read about being particularly difficult to tell so, I it's most likely that if there is a butcher cover underneath you would have to do the ultimate 'no-no' (which would be to peel the corner up a bit and peek)!
Well, I'm not peeling anything on this because it's just too perfect so, if it is or isn't doesn't much matter because it's still one great looking vintage Beatles album so, bid accordingly and, geez, don't tell me if you do peel it -- I hate torture!!

Beautiful record - side one is NM & side two is a real nice VG+ with just a few of those tiny little light marks that show up only under bright light = plays NM clean and is an original 1st press with the "Mfd. By Capitol" statement on the perimeter of the labels / original inner sleeve too / amazingly beautiful NM Cover is still in the original shrinkwrap! THIS PUPPY IS CLEAN!!!

#3. All records are visually graded under a bright halogen light and sound checked as well!

GRADING:
MINT = still sealed
NM+ = perfect, flawless, just isn't sealed
NM = one or two inconsequential little marks that in no way effect the play
NM- = just a whisp below NM (probably three of the slightest marks)
VG+ = few slight marks visible under bright light but still plays NM clean
VG = you can hear a couple of pops or crackles but it still plays without any skips -- I RARELY ever will post anything in VG condition unless it is soooo rare that it's just got to heard!
Anything below a VG I would never sell or keep and you should NEVER buy = throw them out!!!!

#4.. All opened record albums are packed with the record removed from the cover to prevent splitting of the cover during shipment and are given extra corner protection as well.
#5. All sales are final! I do NOT accept returns so, don't plan on trying a record switch! And I will not be a party to extortion (yes, they have tried this too!).
#6.Winning bidder MUST email me within 3 days of end of auction and sale MUST be completed within 15 days unless PRIOR (prior to your win!) arrangements are made.

Geez, I used to see ads that included huge explanations here on ebay and think "Wow, what's that all about?" Now, I have an ad with a huge explanation at the end. Well, time & experience...there are some wiggy people out there in cyberland and it only takes one of them to ruin a good week! Amazingly, the inclusion of this section in 2002 has had remarkable results.....*****UPDATE!!! NO ONE (ESPECIALLY ANYONE THAT REALLY NEEDS TO) IS READING THE RULES & REGS. AND THEN THEY'RE COMING BACK AT ME (trying to switch albums on me, complaining because they didn't pay for double packing when they needed it, whining because they didn't get a NM record when the album was CLEARLY described as NM- / VG+, , crying that there is cat hair on the record (yes, really - this has happened -- so what kind of life do these people have???) when all they need to do is wipe it off, etc...). AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH! SOOoooooooo....NOW WHAT? WELLLL...I WAS FEELIN' PRETTY BUMMED BY THE RECENT ONSLAUGHT OF ATTACKERS BUT I THINK I'M OVER IT NOW & MOST OF MY BIDDERS ARE STILL HAPPY SO, I'LL JUST KEEP ON KEEPIN' ON FOR THEM EVEN THOUGH MY FEEDBACK RATING IS TOTALLY SHOT (hmmm...they warned of this "permanent record" deal in kindergarten! So, I've had a long time to cope with the fact that once you no longer have 100% you can NEVER have 100% again -- that's it -- so get over it!!!)

Oh yes, the New Year's addition for this year--
Well, the world just keeps changing and, hopefully, someday we will no longer live under facism or threat of terror but, for now (what is it 3 more years?) we'll just have to hang in there or have a revolution SOOOOoooooooo.....for the New Year:
Stay outta harm's way any way you can = duck, run, don't enlist in any armies, etc...
If everything gets quite and all of the little animals are running away don't try to figure out why first - just remember you're an animal too and RUN with them!
Be mellow and cool and turn that other cheek (yes, you know which one) but, if someone tries to take your home or hurt your people or pets (or vinyl) FIGHT like hell!
Oh, and, last but not least - WHEN THE WORLD GETS TOO WILD TO WATCH ANYMORE -- JUST CLOSE YOUR EYES AND TURN UP THE MUSIC!!!
