Description

This is The Beatles' debut album in Germany. Odeon Green label:

Green label with GEMA only. "All My Loving" includes five taps a hi-hat just prior to beginning of the recording.

Odeon is a German label founded by Max Strauss and Heinrich Zunz, named after a theatre in Paris. It became an EMI subsidiary upon EMI’s formation in 1931. With branches running in several territories including Brasil, France, and Japan, Odeon remained an EMI subsidiary until the end of the LP era, in some markets as Odeon and in others as EMI Odeon.  Odeon was the main label for German Beatles records until 1968, when the records were given the Apple labels, still distributed by Electrola. As an example, "With The Beatles", with a green Odeon label (being a mono LP), as opposed to white/gold labels for the stereo counterparts. The excerpt from the back cover shows the Electrola GmbH imprint.
Cover is: VG ...there is clear tape around the edges. Overall it looks really great.
Vinyl is: VG- multiple light hairlines some light scratches. Record plays without a jump. I am not a record pro so to avoid trouble i grade them a bit worse then i think they are.

Odeon logomark and catalog No. "O 83 568" were printed at the upper left of the front cover. Catalog No. "83 568" were printed on the back cover. "PRINTED IN GERMANY" was printed at the bottom of the back cover. "ELECTROLA GESELLSCHAFT M.B.H KÖLN" was printed at the bottom of the back cover.
