1963 UK **1ST PRESSING MONO** LP
**'JOBETE' LABEL CREDIT**
This rare 1963 first mono pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1206
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'Parlophone Co Ltd...' rims and the 'Recording First Published...' text.
The publishing credit for the song 'Money' is 'Jobete..' and there is the '..Gotta..' label misspelling.
The 'MT' tax/price code is visible on the centre of the side 2 label.
Housed in a front laminated, 'tri-flipback' Garrod & Lofthouse mono cover.
This example has the 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me' misspelling on the rear panel.
Complete with its original polylined 'Use Emitex' inner-sleeve.

Carefully handled and not overplayed, the surfaces are bright and clean retaining their deep gloss finishes.
There are just a few light paper scuffs under a halogen desk lamp but no deep or large scuffs or scratches of any kind.
Pressed on extremely thick heavy quality vinyl and without question 100% flat on the turntable without dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT
Loud and raw sound from this very first pressing; all the music is bright and clear without any crackle or groovewear distortion in either channel.
There is some light/normal low-level background on the run-ins between tracks but no clicks, pops, hiss, jumps or repeats.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A fine example of this easily spoiled cover which bears extremely light wear only.
The front panel is clean, bright and unyellowed with just a few light spine wrinkles and one small crease above Ringo's head.
The corners and opening edges are clean, sharp and unworn without 'bumps', tears, 'feathering' or missing paper.
The rear panel is clean, bright and white without any discolouration, marks or writing.
The 'flipbacks' are slightly discoloured but are intact and undamaged. All seams are stong and unsplit and the spine is square, clean and readable.
