The Beatles - With The Beatles
This superb copy of The Beatles second studio album is a German stereo 2nd pressing on the Beautiful golden rimmed German Odeon label.
Odeon are acknowledge for using high-quality vinyl and producing fantastic audio reproductions.This album is certainly that. It is arguably the best stereo reproduction of With The Beatles that I have heard (and I have heard a lot!).
For the completist collector this album contains the so-caled 'hi-hat intro' of "All My Loving" which was not released on any UK/American release.
The vinyl is housed within the original laminated sleeve with wrap-around golden stereo sticker. The sleeve shows the catalogue number (83568) from of the first pressing.
The catalogue number identifies the vinyl as a second pressing. It features the rare misprint in which "You Really Gotta Hold on Me" is printed "You Really Gotta Gold On Me".
Also included is the original die-cut Odeon advertising inner sleeve.

Vinyl: EXCELLENT +
Labels: EXCELLENT +
The labels are bright and clean without writing. Only very light spindle marks can be seen to all four sides.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
The vinyl displays superb 'factory-fresh' deep-gloss playing surfaces in which a single non-feel-able mark can be to 2. Underneath a halogen desk lamp a handful of wispy paper hairlines can be seen alongside a sparkling rainbow shine.
Sound Quality: MINT -
The audio is superb! There are quiet lead-ins to both and minimal static in the dead wax between songs and at the end of each side. All tracks play through with clarity and distinction. There is great channel separation. There are no pops, skips or jumps. A great listen throughout.
Sleeve: EXCELLENT +
The sleeve looks fantastic. Both the front and rear are exceptionally clean and retain a sheen finish. The front has a noticeable laminate ripple. I assume this is a factory feature as I am unsure what would cause this otherwise. The spine is fully readable and without wear. The top, bottom and opening edges are without wear. The corners are strong displaying just mild softening.
Inners: EXCELLENT +
The original inner sleeve looks great. It is clean without discolouration and with minimal creasing. Also included in the sale is an audiophile quality, anti-static inner sleeve to help protect and preserve the fantastic record.
The record will be sent via an insured courier in a padded vinyl mailer.
