Description

BEATLES WHITE ALBUM, WHITE VINYL, CAPITOL LABEL, 1978, ALL INSERTS, SEBX 11841

Here is the 1978 vintage Capitol (U.S.) release of, “The Beatles", on white vinyl: SEBX 11841.

The album cover has obvious “shelf wear” but it is still a solid unit, no split seams. The spine is good.

Side #4 has a visible mark on the white vinyl (photo #1 - top right record). The mark was there when I bought this album new in 1978. The mark never translated into audio noise. In reading about these Beatle white vinyl albums, it is not uncommon for visual flaws on one or more of the four sides (and often the flaw is a brown coloration).

I bought this album new and understood how to care for vinyl. In its playing days, these records were handled with care and always stored in a quality V.R.P. after-market dust sleeve. The original dust sleeves are not present.

This album has been properly stored for years. I no longer have a turntable so I cannot vouch for how these records play now, but they used to sound great so I expect that has not changed - but I make no warranties or guarantees of audio quality - so no returns or refunds with this.

As shown in the photos, this “The Beatles White Album” comes with a colored photo of each Beatle and the pictorial foldout/lyric sheet. These are all in good shape - no pin holes, rips, tears, etc. The pic of Paul has some creases, that’s how it came new.

PACKING: Since I am selling several vinyl LP albums on eBay but have never shipped vinyl LPs before, I experimented for a couple of hours with the "sandwich" method of packing, where the record is removed from the album cover and from the dust sleeve and then sandwiched between those two things. Then, the "sandwich" is bubble-wrapped tightly. However, I still could feel things sliding around inside the "sandwich". The sliding seemed minimal but it also seemed no different than when I simply bubble-wrapped the entire album with the record in its dust jacket and in the album cover. So, I will be shipping these records in their V.R.P. dust jackets and in the album cover (with the photos). The entire album will be bubble-wrapped tightly to reduce shifting of the record and then placed into a shipping box. I already have this ready to ship and I feel no sliding of the record in its packaging. If this is NOT how you want this shipped, then I will politely request that you please do not buy it.

Ships with tracking using USPS Media Mail to lower 48 states only.

NOTE: Media Mail can take two weeks, maybe longer during the holiday season.
