**No. 0004686**
This low numbered 1st mono pressing features: top opening No.0004686 cover, all '-1' matrices, black inners, poster, photos and photo spacer.
I have carefully and conservatively graded the entire package to aviod any disappointment.

All labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Apple Records...' rim texts.
All labels omit the 'An E.M.I. Recording' statement.
There is no tax/price code is visible on any label.

Cover: VERY GOOD PLUS
This low numbered example constructed from strong 'thick' card displays moderate/'normal' storage and handling wear only.
The cover retains an overall good 'whiteness' and a clean front laminate with just a 4cm scratch to the upper right corner.
There is some light wear to the top opening edge with a 5mm tear to the rear top edge but no other major damage.
All corner bear light storagewear but no 'bumping' and the 0004686 number is clean and bold.
The rear panel and inside of the gatefold are in great shape with just one small 'thumbnail' inside but no marks or writing.
The spine has some wear to the rear edge and partial laminate split but all the text is undamaged and readable.
DiscsDisc 1 Labels: EXCELLENT
Visual: EXCELLENT
Bright and glossy surfaces undulled by overplay or poor handling. Careful inspection under a halogen desk lamp reveals only some light sleeve removal hairlines. There are no major or deep scratches or any major marks. The disc lies 100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT MINUS
Carefully and not overplayed, there is very little lessening to the sound quality with all tracks play without any groovewear distortion.
There is some light intermittant background crackle most notably on 'Martha My Dear' but less so on other quieter passages.
However the entire disc plays without any hiss, heavy clicks, pops, jumps or repeats.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Bright and glossy surfaces bearing only light sleeve removal hairlines and marks under a halogen desk lamp from storage in the original matt inners.
There are no major scuffs or scratches and the disc lies totally 100% flat on the turntable without any dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT MINUS
Certainly not overplayed, there is very little lessening to the sound quality. All tracks sound clear and bright without any groovewear distortion.
There is just a hint of low-level background in some quieter sections; but no groovewear distortion, hiss, clicks, pops, jumps or repeats.
Some light creasing.
Black inners: EXCELLENTLight creasing but no tears or seam splits.
Poster: EXCELLENTStrict visual grading in daylight and directly under a halogen desk lamp & audibly at volume on high-end audio equipment
