Beatles White Album Pathe Marconi lp French Export to UK PCS 7067/8
Matrices 298517 - 1, 298518 - 1, 298519 - 1 & 298520 - 1
UK lp pressed in France for export. It has the UK catalogue no. but French matrices.
The records are in near mint condition. They are clean flat and very shiny. There are no appreciable marks except for the lightest of bag marks; invisible in normal light but faintly visible in very intense light. They make no contribution to the sound which is outstanding throughout. In the run ins there is the very faintest of crackle but this is unnoticeable once the music has started and will probably be removed completely with a good anti-static cleaner. I mention this to be ultra pcky. This is a very well kept pair of discs.
The labels are in at least excellent condition. There are literally one or two spindle marks and a couple of pressing lines around the hole on side 3 (see photo), but other than that the labels are flawless.
The cover is in excellent condition. The edges are crisp and clean and there are only the lightest of laminate folds. There is a little yellowing to the spine but overall this is one of the nicest sleeves I have seen on this lp.
Unfortunately the poster and photos are long gone.
