See my other items for more nice Beatles LPs! Here's a rare early US pressing of the Beatles White Album. The initial pressings of these albums have errors in the song titles. It is said that John Lennon himself caught the errors, and corrections were soon made. Some copies have a combination of corrected and uncorrected sides. This one has six of the seven possible errors.
1. "Bungalow Bill" instead of "The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill"
2. "Obladi Oblada" instead of "Ob-la-di Ob-la-da"
3. "Rocky Racoon" missing the second "C" in Raccoon
4. "Goodnight" instead of "Good Night"
5. "Revolution No. 1" instead of "Revolution 1"
6. "Revolution No. 9" instead of "Revolution 9"
The vinyl grades VG. The discs show light scratches, some wear and general scuffing. They play with some background static and some pops, more noticeable in softer sections. They are not in perfect shape, but are still playable and enjoyable. This is a Capitol west coast (LA) pressing with an asterisk in the trailoffs. The cover has some seam splitting on top and bottom. The poster and four photos of the Beatles are present. Low number copy at 0073317. Rare pressing!
