Whilst not a first press numbered top opener, this 1970's embossed sleeve issue is in absolutley stunning condition, should be a final upgarde if you're after this particular issue or if you're just looking for any stunning complete copy have a look here.
The vinyl is full of original gloss and sheen, beautifully clean and bright and sounds absolutely fantastic. It does have paper sleeve removal hairlines when held to a bright light and side 1 ^ 3 have what looks like a paper scuff or light foxing but this doesn't affect play. As such sides 1&3 are EX+ and sides 2&4 are NM. Overall a strong EX++
The sleeve grades as a really strong VG+, sharp corners, no marks or writing, lovely sheen on the lamiante and no significant discoloration, really an archive copy. The embossed The BEATLES is sharp and clean, as is the inside of the gatefold. There's a tiny amount of laminate lift on the spine, light spine creases a small blemish on the inside of the gatefold (see pics) however these are minor and it's still a stunning copy. All of my items are available to return if people aren't fully satisfied. All 4 labels are also NM with the later EMI recording and Mfd. in the UK text. Both orig EMI printed inners are VG+ with light creases but no writing. The photos and poster are both EX++ with hardly any signs of age, both very close to NM.
