Description
VERY RARE FIRST UK PRESSING WITH LOW NUMBER. No EMI on labels indicate that this is truly a first press. Top loader still looks factory sharp and aside of some stains here and there it is still a very good example of this amazing record.
EARLY STAMPERS! PROBABLY ONE OF THE FIRST BATCHES OF WHITE ALBUMS DISPATCHED TO THE STORES!
- Matrix / Runout (Side 1, variant 1): YEX 709-1 MG-3
- Matrix / Runout (Side 2, variant 1): YEX 710-1 RD-2
- Matrix / Runout (Side 3, variant 1): YEX 711-1 LA-3
- Matrix / Runout (Side 4, variant 1): YEX 712-1 LT-7
COVERS: Front and back cover look very good, there are some stain spots (see pics) but that doesn't take away from its beauty. Top loader looks factory sharp and spine is fully readable. VINYL: First vinyl looks very good, some scuffs and hairline scratches here and there, second vinyl is pretty much the same, but with some more little scratches that are in no way detrimental of the sound. Both records are DEAD FLAT on the turntable. LABELS: All four sides have almost no spindle marks and look very glossy, near MINT. AUDIO: Side 1 has some background noise, some ticks and pops, but nothing loud, no skips or jumps, of course. Side 2 has background noise, with ticks and little pops. Side 3 plays great throughout, as well as side 4, ticks and pops, but nothing that overpowers the music in any way. INSERTS: Poster and 4 photographs look near MINT, comes with original black sleeve with punch hole in the middle.
