THE BEATLES - 'WHITE ALBUM'
This Japanese red vinyl 1st pressing dates from its initial January 1969 Japanese release on the Apple Records label: AP-8570/1
Disc 1 matrix numbers: YEX 709 1S 14 & YEX 710 1S 2 10
Vinyl weight: 147g
Disc 2 matrix numbers: YEX 711 1S 2 & YEX 712 1S 14
Vinyl weight: 149g
Both discs are housed within a thick glossy, side-opening gatefold cover which is numbered on the front panel: No. A011010
The cover also retains its original, fully intact 'Obi' strip, Japanese printed poster, 4 colour portrait photos & black inner-sleeves.

Labels: Disc 1: EXCELLENT Disc 2: EXCELLENT +
All are clean & undamaged with some light spindle trails, mostly on disc 1 labels.
Visual: Disc 1: EXCELLENT Disc 2: EXCELLENT +
All playing surfaces are perfectly clean and a deep ruby-red throughout. Viewed directly beneath halogen light, disc 1 bears some light paper scuffs consistent with inner-sleeve removal, but disc 2 is virtually unmarked.
Sound Quality of both disc: EXCELLENT +
Both discs have been carefully played on good quality equipment and everything plays cleanly & clearly with no trace of groove/playwear distortion or background crackle. In fact, apart from a handful of light clicks on 'Dear Prudence' and a few soft ticks at the beginning and end of 'Mother Nature's Son', there is little to fault on this fine sounding pressing.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
Despite some obvious foxing to the outer panels, this is a strong & unworn example with no significant or major faults throughout. There is slight shelfwear bruising to the lower corners but both opening edges are clean & undamaged.
The inside of the gatefold has a lesser amount of foxing and is otherwise unmarked.
All seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is clean & fully worded at both ends.

Uncreased & unworn but with moderate foxing.
Inner-sleeves: EXCELLENT +
Both are clean & flat with no tears or seam splits.
