The original first pressing of this double LP pressed in 1968.
Additionally the very rare MONO version
No "emi recording.." listed on the label, this occurs only in the very earliest copies made of the first press.

. All 4 sides have been listened to right through. Graded EX+ to VG+ Individual play notes for each side are listed below.
Outer Cover
. Original laminated cover made by Garrod and Lofthouse.
. Opens at the top.
. Original heavyweight version.
. The Beatles embossed on the front of the cover.
. Number stamped on the front 0157746
. Rear of cover has no markings anywhere, ie MONO
. VG+ condition overall.
. A nice glossy surface with just a few creases and a few indentations/scuffs in the laminate on the left and right edges.
Black Inner Sleeves
. Both sleeves are original Apple, in matt black paper with the hole diecut on just 1 side.
. Complete, with some creasing to the paper and a few small tears, looking a bit worn and 40 years of age. VG
. One sleeve has seam split and a small tear on the centre hole, and lightly scuffed along the top. The other has two tears on the centre hole and the three seams have been strengthened with tape.

. Only George I am afraid, with some tape marks in the corners.

Poster
. Original lyrics poster by Garrod and Lofthouse.
. VG+
. The front face looks fine with just some light creasing to the paper. The rear face has some brown marks from old tape on the seams and the seams have been strengthened with new invisible tape.
. Complete, no writing, no holes, no tears.
I have played the 2 records all the way through and listened to all tracks.
Side1 - Visually VG+ a few light scratches and surface rubbing. Plays VG+ right through with no ticks, no hops, no sticks, a little light crackle can be heard between the tracks of this side. Side 2 - visually VG+ no deep scratches to be seen, but light surface rubbing Play VG+ Plays with no ticks, no hops or sticks, some background crackle noticeable in quiet parts. Side 3 - Visually EX no scratches and even in strongest light only a few faint hairlines. No ticks, no hops, no sticks but there were a number of quiet regular clicks from the end of track2 into track3. Apart from this one place play was EX+ throughout the side. Side 4 -Visually EX. Played EX+ throughout, just heard one tick in one place. No hops, jumps, no background crackle
