VERY CLEAN, COMPLETE, AND A NEAR MINT PROMOTIONAL EXAMPLE.
This WINGS LONDON TOWN LP was released by M.P.L. in the UK in 1978, as a promotional copy for demonstration purposes only, the front of the sleeve has the official EMI GOLD LETTERING STAMP, and reads Property of EMI Demonstration Only Not For Sale (SEE SCAN)
The Vinyl LP is on the Wings Picture labels, featuring London’s Tower Bridge, with Made in Gt Britain label rim.
Both sides of the record labels are in Mint Minus condition, just one light centre spindle line on each label.
Side 1 matrix YEX 975-1 & Side 2: YEX 976-1.
Side 1First issue stampers : 1G and Side 2 First issue stampers:1G.
Both sides of the vinyl discs are in Mint condition, both sides of the vinyl disc look new.
The album plays throughout with no faults.
The LP comes in it’s ORIGINAL printed card record inner sleeve, with lyrics to the songs printed on both sides, and is in undamaged Mint Minus condition.
And is housed in its ORIGINAL HEAVY DUTY card picture sleeve, with the official EMI GOLD Promo stamp which is in NEAR MINT condition, all edges are undamaged, showing a couple of light corner bumps, otherwise a really impressive PROMOTIONAL Sleeve.
And also includes a large 23” x 33” double sided Wings London Town Poster, which is in machine folded Mint condition.
A complete VERY FIRST ISSUE EMI Promotional album with 1G Stampers on both sides, with it’s original card inner sleeve and Poster all in SUPERB condition.
