EXCEPTIONAL CLEAN EXAMPLE, WITH ORIGINAL TOP OPENING, NUMBERED SLEEVE, ORIGINAL BLACK INNER BAGS, ORIGINAL LYRIC POSTER, FOUR ORIGINAL PRINTS!!
This LOVELY, CLEAN and COMPLETE Example of THE BEATLES ICONIC UK MONO WHITE album, was released in the UK in 1968 on the traditional Dark Green APPLE label, with Sold in UK… to all four record labels and Apple Records label rim text.
The FIRST ISSUE Vinyl LPs come in their correct and ORIGINAL Matt Black Die-Cut Inner Bags and are housed in a VERY NICE ORIGINAL UK First Issue TOP OPENING, NUMBERED Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse GATEFOLD sleeve, numbered 0477317.
Also included in this COMPLETE package is an ORIGINAL Large Format White album Lyric Poster and 4 ORIGINAL Portrait Prints - one of each Beatle.
The official First Issue matrixes are: Side 1: XEX 709-1/Side 2: XEX 710-1/ Side 3: XEX 711-1/Side 4: XEX 712-1. The stampers are: Side 1: 3/GDG, Side 2: 3/AL, Side 3: 5/GRR, Side 4: 4/HAG.
All four record labels are in IMPRESSIVE excellent plus condition – CLEAN, UNWORN, UNDAMAGED record labels, with no more than just a few barely visible centre spider trails and NO wear around any of the centre spindle holes. All four sides of the two Vinyl Discs are in excellent plus condition, BRIGHT, UNDAMAGED, CLEAN Vinyl, with only some light wispy hairlines, but no deep scratches. On side 3, track 3, there is an extremely light surface mark that creates a light ‘hiss’ when played. The Original Top Opening, Numbered laminated Gatefold sleeve is in STRONG excellent condition. A VERY NICE FIRM and FLAT sleeve, CLEAN and BRIGHT, and only minimal record indentation. The FOUR Original 1968 colour portrait photographs - one of each of The Beatles are in UNDAMAGED near mint condition. The Folded Giant Lyric poster is also near mint, with NO tearing, NO Pin holes, NO Splitting to the folds. There is seam splitting to one of the Original matt black inner bags and the other also has seam splitting and tearing around the die cut.
Having carefully played both albums, the sound quality is GREAT. The albums play well, with the occasional light background crackle, but nothing major, and NO skipping or jumping to any of the tracks.
