Description
This is a vintage Beatles bootleg LP. WATCHING RAINBOWS was released in 1978 on Audifon Records/Ruthless Rhymes Ltd. and I bought my copy through the mail back then. The labels say 1971, but what I read online says 1978. I KNOW I was not buying bootlegs through the mail in 1971.
This was released when we finally started getting professional looking bootleg Beatle records often with color covers and records that often were about as good as legit pressings. Some are still amazing artifacts and stand the test of time. Most any rare Beatles tracks have gone on to be reissued on bootleg CD's, legitimate projects (better source/cleaned-up/remixed-BEATLES ANTHOLOGY/LIVE AT THE BBC), or can be found online. But, this was where we first discovered many new rarities via mail order. NONE of these ever came shrinkwrapped as long as I was buying them---EVER! This was a new release when I ordered it through the mail. The real deal I am a 'detail' person (wish I wasn't as obsessive).

DISC - Looks VG+, Plays VG+ or better overall. I hear one loud tic in Mean Mr. Mustard, one in the 'prelude (warm-up/fiddling about) to All Things Must Pass and a loud tic in Golden Slumbers. They crammed a LOT onto one side making the grooves very close together.
COVER - Two short corner budges at bottom. Upper left small nudge visible from BC. Upper right larger bend. VG+
My copy came with a BLACK inner sleeve - 2-1/2" seam split left side
