Description
For such a well-known song, this is an awfully tough 45 to find. Why? Because this is the 1963 pressing that sold very sporadically in the US (mainly in California where it was a minor radio hit that autumn). By the time America was widely aware of the Beatles in early 1964, thanks to Capitol Records' massive promotional campaign and widespread TV coverage, Vee-Jay had re-issued "From Me To You" as the b-side to "Please Please Me" - effectively giving it away instead of scoring another hit with it in its own right, which would have been easily done by simply re-issuing this coupling in those heady early days of 1964 (They would recycle "Thank You Girl" as the b-side to their "Do You Want To Know A Secret" Tollie 45). This copy is in good condition. It does have some scuff marks but both sides play well. (refer to pictures and video)
