Rarer TRANSITIONAL Press
 VG+
LOUD CUT

This Lp was released on the 3rd of December 1965 and stayed at the number 1 position for a total of 9 weeks from Christmas that year....What a pressie to unwrap!

This is the rarer recording as these records were pulled from the shelf almost immediately after being dispatched...they were then taken and destroyed, replacing them with the 2nd pressing.

Catalogue number: PMC 1267

VERY FEW OF THESE TRANSITIONAL PRESSES EXIST, AND MOST NOT IN THE CONDITION THIS ONE IS HERE!

Vinyl: VG+. Lovely shine and weight. There are just light marks. I have just played the Lp through and the LOUD CUT affect is clearly auidible and sounds really RAW.. Only a small  amount of background crackle-due to the record being quite well played, of which I am sure will be reduced with a good clean as if it's just the crackle of dust, she really is overall, lovely and quiet.
One tiny skip at the start of track 2 side 2.
Flat as the day she was born.
Shiny as the day she was born too.
Quality heavy-weight best of British vinyl!

Labels: VG+. There are quite a few spindle marks, visible when angled to the light, with just light wear to the central hole. Raised "KT" tax code to side 1. No writing anywhere, but needle marks to both sides. "The Gramophone Co..." rim text as well as "Sold In U.K." text.
Please see the detailed images.

Cover: VG+.
ERNEST J DAY COVER
No splits or writing anywhere! A few half crescent spidering areas to the gloriously glossy cover as well as a few 'fingers' from the edges.
 Excellent, uncrushed spine.
Very light rubbing to the corners.
The back is GORGEOUS, just ever so lightly discoloured.
(again, please see the images)

Wondefully Strong Ernest J Day flipbacks all in superb condition!
*As a note about the Ernest J Day cover-These are a lot more rare than their counterpart Garrod & Lofthouse to a ration of around 10:1!*

Inner:  EX+. ORIGINAL 'Use Emitex' inner.
NO splits!
Just light creasing and ever so slight discolouration due to age.

All in all THIS IS A COLLECTORS PIECE. Grab it with both hands.
YES, you can find the Loud Cut -1/-1 pressings for around £100, but not very many of these transitional pressings with 1 side being the Loud Cut and the other being the re-mixed side!
And the sound reproduction is really lovely.
MAGICAL!

A note on grading:
'Mint' means I have just stepped out of the record shop in the 60's, never opened nor played the record and kept it in fantasticaly dry and warm condtitons...unlikely isn't it!!
