'NO ONE'S GONNA CHANGE OUR WORLD'
During the February 1968 recording sessions for 'Across The Universe', Spike Milligan dropped into the studio and on hearing the song suggested the track would be ideal for release on a charity album he was organizing for the World Wildlife Fund. At some point in 1968 The Beatles agreed to this proposal, and the track was mixed into stereo for the first time by George Martin. The original mix (mono and stereo) is 3:37. For the 'wildlife' album it was deemed appropriate to add sound effects of birds at the beginning and end of the track. After the effects were added the track was sped up; so that even with 20 seconds of effects the track is only 3:49.
The song was first released in this version on this LP on EMI's budget 'Regal Starline' label: SRS 5013 in December 1969.
Another highlight of the disc was The Hollies spectacular song 'Wings' which was also unreleased at that time.
Other contributing artists included: Cilla Black, The Bee Gees, DDBMT, Lulu, Spike Milligan, Cilla Black, Rolf Harris, Cliff Richard & The Shadows and Bruce Forsyth.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover complete with original plain white inner-sleeve.

Perfect - no spindle marks or wear to either side.
Visual: MINT
Both surfaces of this outstanding copy are bright, clean and glossy in strong daylight with no surface marks or wear visible to either side. Close inspection directly under my halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a few insignificant inner-sleeve removal marks and a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines.

This immaculate copy has been filed in a archive since release and has never been played.

EXCELLENT +
A superb example with a totally undamaged and unworn front panel laminate which retains a perfect high-gloss front laminate with no scratches, creases or 'thumbnails' anywhere. There is a hint or shelfwear to the corners but no heavy bumps to any. The rear panel is clean & white with just a tiny distributor stamp in the lower right corner but there really is little else to fault on superb cover.
