Following the 2009 debut of the digitally re-mastered catalogue on CD, Apple Corps Ltd. And EMI music released a limited edition of only 30,000 Beatles Stereo USB apples. The exquisitely crafted, apple-shaped USB drive is loaded with the critically acclaimed re-mastered audio for The Beatles’ 14 stereo titles, as well as all of the re-mastered CDs’ visual elements, including 13 mini-documentary films about the studio albums, replicated original UK album art, rare photos and expanded liner notes. A specially designed Flash interface has been installed, and the 16GB USB’s audio contents are provided in FLAC 44.1 Khz 24 bit and MP3 320 Kbps formats, fully compatible with PC and Mac. That was the advertising for this unusual item back in 2009. I purchased just the one really for the novelty value alone.. I particularly wanted the 24bit 44.1Khz FLAC format to start me off on the digital audio road. No disappointments. I would like to add that i feel the "used" description a little inaccurate! I removed the cellophane wrapper back in 2009 (why wouldn't you?) to access the data. Today i would describe the item as "very good condition (actual box) and mint condition (green metal Apple). The item you see has been in a clean dry draw for years. Absolutely no grease (from fingers) or scratches. I have tested the item on a Win 10 machine only as i do not have Apple kit. Working 100%. Any way years go by and a new house move on the horizon i feel it is time to say good bye to some of the past. Many of the original Apples shipped arrived to the customer with a broken stalk. I did not have this problem. I will place some packing inside the box to stop any movement during transit Non Smoking owner. This item is NOT a copy/knockoff. I purchased this from Amazon uk back in 2009, it is a genuine item. Thank you for your interest today. N.B. Having viewed my listing i see "Digital Artifacts" or black marks on some of the photographs. NOT happy at all with eBay's compression software. I offer Full Disclosure to you that I took all the photos and their are ABSOLUTELY NO black marks on this USB Green Apple.
